Privacy policy
This policy describes what this website actually does. It is written to be read, and it will be updated when the site's behaviour changes.

Who is responsible
This site is operated by [TODO: legal entity name, trading address, and country], referred to here as “we”. For privacy questions, write to [TODO: privacy contact email].
What this site collects
This is a static website. It has no user accounts, no login, no shopping cart, and no comment system, so there is no database of visitors.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) to serve pages and protect the site. Retention is controlled by the provider.
- Emails you send us. If you write to the contact address, we keep the message and your address so we can reply and, where relevant, correct a page.
No analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts are loaded on this site at the time of writing. If that changes, this page changes with it, and a cookie notice will appear where the law requires one.
What this site does not do
- No advertising networks or retargeting pixels.
- No selling or renting of personal data.
- No profiling of readers for marketing.
- No collection of payment details — purchases happen on the vendor's site.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Third-party sites you reach through a link may set their own cookies once you arrive; those are governed by their policies.
Affiliate links and third parties
Links to products may be affiliate links. When you click one, the vendor or its affiliate network may record the referral using a cookie or a URL parameter. That happens on their systems, under their privacy policies, not ours. See the affiliate disclosure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR or UK GDPR in Europe and the UK, or under state privacy laws in the US — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, use the contact address above. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is aimed at working adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
When the site's data practices change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Material changes are noted in plain language rather than folded silently into the text.
Before you publish this page
This policy is a working draft that describes the site as built. It is not legal advice. Before launch: fill in every [TODO], confirm your hosting provider's log retention, and have the page reviewed against the rules of the countries you actually serve.
